Food was really nice good balanced menu selection all setup for covid rules. The staff were helpful and friendly, also offer children's menu, steadily busy short wait this time for table, will visit again
5 stars for the grilled open-face toastie with grilled halloumi, avocado and bell peppers. I was surprised by the generous portion, and also this was really tasty. The coffee portions are similarly generous - was surprised by how large my coffee cup was. But I think food is their stronger point, coffee not so much. Service is good, but come if you are not in a rush.

On a cold rainy day, we entered the restaurant looking for some cream tea. Upon entering, we were welcomed by smiling friendly staff and a warm crackling fire in the fireplace. The menu looked amazing so we ended up ordering lunch first. The hot chocolate was a pleasant surprise big enough for me and my son to share. One of the best restaurants that I have ate in in Scotland. Would highly recommend.
